Austyns Stancil, a 34-year-old from Oakland, California, is competing on Team Snoop in The Playoffs. He is a proud “girl dad” to four daughters, who are the center of his life. Though he is no longer in a relationship with their mother, they work together as co-parents to prioritize their daughters’ happiness. Austyns was raised in a loving family with two brothers and a half-brother, and he faced an immense loss when his father, diagnosed with colon cancer in 2021, passed away in 2023. Music, a constant in Austyns’ life since his childhood, became his refuge in processing this grief. With his first solo performance at age 9, he has since mastered the piano, organ, and drums and has performed with renowned gospel artists like Fred Hammond, Byron Cage, Marvin Sapp, and Kirk Franklin. Despite his busy schedule, Austyns finds time to perform locally in Oakland and share his passion for music with his daughters at home.
