Katie O, an 18-year-old from Jacksonville, Florida, is representing Team Reba in The Playoffs. From a young age, Katie loved music, often singing around the house and even making up songs to help her study. Growing up by the beach and spending time at her grandparents’ river house, she enjoyed outdoor activities with her family, especially fishing and shrimping with her dad. Tragically, she lost her father when she was just 9, but her strong faith, close family, and love for music helped her navigate that difficult time. After performing at an open mic at a local restaurant, Katie felt a calling to pursue music seriously and soon began singing across the U.S. at restaurants, fairs, festivals, and even Jacksonville’s River Taxi. This year, she’s taken a break from college to fully invest in her music, focusing on performing, songwriting, and releasing new music. Katie is eager to see where this journey takes her as she pursues her passion on The Voice stage.
