Brett Staniland was a 27-year-old Model and PhD Student from Derbyshire when he appeared on the seventh season of Love Island UK. He entered the villa as a late bombshell on Day 44 and coupled with Priya Gopaldas. Brett and Priya were dumped on Day 50 after receiving the fewest public votes. His academic background as a PhD student made him unique among the islanders.
