Caleb Bankston finished ninth on Survivor: Blood vs. Water as the fiance of returning player Colton Cumbie. When Colton quit the game, Caleb continued playing on his own and proved to be a strong competitor. He formed bonds across tribal lines before being eliminated at Redemption Island. Tragically, Caleb died in a train accident in June 2014.
