Joe Dowdle

Joe Dowdle was a 26-year-old Real Estate Sales representative from Austin, Texas when he competed on Survivor: Tocantins. A strong physical competitor on the Jalapao tribe, Joe was well-liked by his tribemates and seemed poised for a deep run. However, a severe leg infection forced his medical evacuation just after the merge on Day 20. Joe's departure was the only medical evacuation of the season and denied him a spot on the jury.
