Sharonda Cox

Sharonda Cox is a 34-year-old resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology from Pompano Beach, Florida, who currently resides in Richmond, Kentucky. A Survivor 51 contestant, Sharonda hopes to use her experience overcoming adversity to inspire young Black people, those from low-income communities and her own family. Growing up in a single-parent household taught her the importance of hard work and resilience, qualities she plans to bring to the game. Charismatic, resilient and reliable, Sharonda identifies strongly with Cirie and values alliance partners who combine loyalty with the ability to adapt when plans suddenly change. She is also a former first-chair violinist who once performed at Disney and has a lifelong interest in science and NASA.
