Wendy DeSmidt-Kohlhoff was the first person voted out of Survivor: Nicaragua, finishing in twentieth place. As a goat rancher from Montana, she intentionally isolated herself from her tribe to avoid annoying them with her talkative personality. This strategy backfired as her lack of social connections made her an easy first target. She was eliminated at the Espada tribe's first Tribal Council.
