Rodolfo “Rudy” Reyes, born in 1971 on Richards-Gebauer Air Base, Missouri, joined the United States Marine Corps at 26 after a decorated martial arts career. As a Recon Marine Team Leader and Scout Sniper, he served one tour in Afghanistan and two in Iraq, leading over 50 patrols behind enemy lines and earning distinction as a Special Forces operator. After leaving the Marines, Rudy worked as a counter-terror contractor for the Department of Defense and later trained wildlife rangers in Africa in anti-poaching tactics. He founded Force Blue, a nonprofit that pairs veterans with marine scientists to restore coral reefs and support conservation efforts. Rudy has appeared in HBO’s Generation Kill, survival shows like Apocalypse Man, and contributed to the BAFTA-nominated Once Upon a Time in Iraq. He also trains in adventure racing and martial arts.
