Amy O'Hara was a 39-year-old Police Sergeant from Revere, Massachusetts when she competed on Survivor: Guatemala. A Curry College graduate who made history as the first female sergeant in the Revere Police Department and served as a Sergeant Detective in the Major Crimes Unit, Amy was a fierce competitor despite suffering multiple ankle injuries. She twisted her ankle during a Mayan basketball-like game but stayed in the tribe, earning respect for her toughness. Amy was voted out on Day 18 just before the merge after suffering a second ankle injury during the 'Boulder Smash' challenge that left her unable to compete effectively. She later competed on Family Feud in 2012 against NBA player Chris Paul and recruited a co-worker for The Amazing Race Season 29.
