Clarence Black

Clarence Black was a 24-year-old Basketball Coach from Detroit, Michigan when he competed on Survivor: Africa. A former high school and college basketball standout, Clarence was one of the most physically imposing contestants of the season. Early in the game, he became notorious for the 'bean incident' when he ate food meant for the entire tribe, which damaged his standing with his Boran tribemates. Despite surviving to the merge as part of the Moto Maji tribe, Clarence was the first person eliminated after the merge on Day 21 due to his physical threat level.
