Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien

Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien was a 48-year-old Real Estate Agent from Burlington, Vermont when she returned for Survivor: All-Stars after her third-place finish in Marquesas. A Rhode Island School of Design graduate who once biked across America to raise money for the American Lung Association, Kathy was the catalyst for one of the greatest power shifts in Survivor history during her first season. On All-Stars, she aligned with Lex van den Berghe on Mogo Mogo but fell victim to Rob Mariano's strategic dominance after the merge, becoming the second member of the jury on Day 30. Kathy's passionate gameplay and emotional investment in the game made her one of the most memorable contestants of the early Survivor era.
