Maralyn Hershey

Maralyn 'Mad Dog' Hershey was a 59-year-old Retired Police Inspector from Wakefield, Virginia and the oldest contestant on Survivor: The Australian Outback. She earned her nickname 'Mad Dog' from her tenacious personality and 23-year career in law enforcement where she achieved the rank of Police Inspector in Alexandria. Despite being the oldest player, Maralyn impressed her tribemates with her toughness and positive attitude throughout the game. She was voted out third on Day 9 as the Ogakor tribe sought to keep their strongest challenge performers.
