On the February 12, 2025, premiere of “The Masked Singer” Season 13, the contestant known as Honey Pot delivered an energetic rendition of Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack.” The performance was characterized by lively dance moves and a playful stage presence, captivating both the audience and the panelists. Panelist Ken Jeong described the act as “joyous” and “fun-filled.”

Following the performance, Honey Pot provided clues about his identity, mentioning that he was “one of the founding fathers of modern-day comedy” and that his films had garnered over “two billion bucks at the box office.” These hints led panelists Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong to speculate that the performer might be Cedric the Entertainer.

Ultimately, Honey Pot was the first contestant eliminated in the season premiere and was revealed to be comedian Cedric the Entertainer. Reflecting on his experience, Cedric shared that he was inspired to join the show after seeing friends Kevin Hart and Anthony Anderson participate in previous seasons. He expressed enjoyment in the experience, though he wished he had been able to perform songs more suited to his style.
