Gary

Gary is a 67-year-old retired garment technologist from Chesterfield who discovered baking later in life after buying his first cookbook five years ago. Having overcome prostate cancer, he uses baking to raise awareness and funds for cancer charities through bake sales and coffee mornings. Now competing on The Great British Bake Off Season 17, Gary lives in the Nottinghamshire countryside with his wife, Donna, and a menagerie that includes sheep, horses, chickens, a miniature pygmy goat and Shetland ponies.
