Courtney Marit was a 31-year-old Fire Dancer from Los Angeles, California when she competed on Survivor: Panama. A former elite-level gymnast who received a scholarship from the University of Georgia and was part of their 1993 NCAA Championship team, Courtney became a performance artist collaborating on theatrical shows with fire, trapeze, stilts, and circus arts, and founded Revolve Productions. Despite being the oldest member of the 'Younger Women' Bayoneta tribe, she formed a tight alliance with Aras, Shane, and Danielle known as the Casaya Alliance. Courtney was the victim of one of Survivor's most revolutionary blindsides on Day 30, orchestrated by Cirie Fields in a 3-2-1 vote that changed strategic gameplay forever. She was reportedly cast for Survivor: Micronesia but was cut at the last minute.
