Gretchen Cordy

Gretchen Cordy was a 38-year-old teacher and former U.S. Air Force survival instructor who competed on Survivor: Borneo. With six years of experience teaching survival skills in the military, she earned the prestigious Cadre Award for most exemplifying the spirit of survival. Gretchen emerged as the natural leader of the Pagong tribe after B.B. Andersen's elimination, but her refusal to form alliances on ethical grounds ultimately sealed her fate. She became the victim of the first major blindside in Survivor history when the Tagi Alliance targeted her on Day 21, making her the first person ever voted out of a merged tribe.
