Joel Klug

Joel Klug was a 27-year-old health club consultant who competed on Survivor: Borneo after growing up on a dairy farm near Green Bay, Wisconsin. A U.S. Coast Guard veteran, Joel became one of the youngest National Account Managers in his industry and was valuable in tribe challenges. He was perceived by his laid-back Pagong tribe as taking the game too seriously, and his laughter at Gervase Peterson's controversial joke about women alienated the female tribe members. Joel was voted out on Day 18, just one day before the merge, by the women of his tribe who saw his behavior as chauvinistic.
