John Carroll

John Carroll was a 36-year-old Registered Nurse from Omaha, Nebraska when he competed on Survivor: Marquesas. A former US Air Force medical technician and dedicated AIDS activist, John emerged as the strategic leader of the Rotu tribe and architect of the powerful Rotu Four alliance. His overconfidence at a pivotal Immunity Challenge, where he revealed his alliance's pecking order, sparked the historic power shift that changed the game. John was blindsided on Day 24 as the second member of the jury when the outsiders banded together, and he has since become a practicing attorney.
