Alt Bloom, the solo project of Ethan Thompson, is a 36-year-old artist from Whitefish, Montana, who rebuilt his career on his own terms. Before launching Alt Bloom, Ethan toured the world in a major-label pop band. Seeking authenticity, he walked away to launch his solo venture, a name inspired by the collision of Los Angeles's alternative city life and Montana’s grounded spirit. With a growing catalog of music, Alt Bloom has captured his audience with standout tracks like “October Eyes” and “Waste More Time,” which have reached millions of listeners worldwide while he tours across the country. He and his wife also converted a school bus, spending nearly three years traveling, writing and performing before officially returning home to Montana. As a contestant on The Voice Season 30, Alt Bloom is entering his next chapter with a clear sense of identity and hopes to introduce the artist he has finally become to a wider audience on Team Queen.
