Amanda Mikkel

Amanda Mikkel is a 31-year-old singer from Dayton, Ohio, now living in Los Angeles, California, who found comfort in music after losing her mother at just nine years old. She pursued classical training at Central State University before developing a style influenced by R&B and neo-soul. Over the years, Amanda has toured with chorales and worked as a background vocalist, songwriter, session singer and assistant while trying to establish herself in the music industry. Despite facing housing instability, including periods of living in her car, she continued performing and building connections through live music. Discovered while performing, Amanda is now taking a major step forward as a contestant on The Voice Season 30, bringing her soulful sound and perseverance to Team Adam.
