K.J. Willis

K.J. Willis is a 35-year-old vocalist from Memphis, Tennessee and a contestant on The Voice Season 29, competing on Team John. Growing up where church harmonies met Sunday-morning R&B, KJ began directing choirs and performing around Memphis by age 14. Known locally as the Singing Barber, he has sung background for artists like Babyface and received mentorship from legends such as Angie Stone. A self-described “church kid and lover of love songs,” KJ brings his soulful heart, discipline, and decades of performance experience to the national stage.
