Mike Steele is a 28-year-old singer from Tutwiler, Mississippi and a contestant on The Voice Season 29, where he is competing on Team Adam after being stolen from Team Legend during the Battles. Now based in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Mike grew up singing in church and recording music with his father’s R&B group, developing his passion at a young age. He gained early attention after a cover video went viral with over 5 million views, leading to live performances around Memphis and furthering his musical journey. After studying music performance at Mississippi Valley State University, Mike continued to build his artistry, and as a father of two, he credits his children for giving him purpose and motivation to succeed.
