Cameron Wright, a 34-year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota, is on Team Bublé in The Playoffs. Raised by a touring musician mother, Cameron was immersed in music from a young age and became a local sensation by 11, performing at nearby venues and even recording a demo. This demo caught the attention of Stevie Wonder, leading to a life-changing duet with him onstage. After high school, Cameron moved to St. Louis to live with their grandparents, reconnecting with family roots and deepening their songwriting skills. By 2015, Cameron had gained a strong social media following and moved to L.A., where they quickly landed major performances, sharing stages with The 1975 and performing at Beyoncé’s Beychella. In 2023, when their grandmother fell seriously ill, Cameron returned to St. Louis, putting music on hold to be by her side until she passed away from breast cancer two weeks later. Through this loss, Cameron grew closer to their mom and has since returned to Minneapolis, where they continue to thrive in the local music scene.
