Gabrielle Zabosky, a 25-year-old from Oxford, Pennsylvania, is a contestant on Team Gwen in The Playoffs. She has been singing since she could talk, and her music career truly began to flourish when she turned her day job at a major supermarket into an opportunity to pursue her dreams. At 20, Gabrielle auditioned for the store’s radio station and earned a spot in their first-ever a cappella group, joining 10 other talented employees from around the country. This unique experience allowed her to work with Cupid on “Cupid Shuffle,” perform on Good Morning America, and star in social media music videos. Despite these successes, Gabrielle’s background is rooted in humility. She was raised in a three-bedroom trailer with her mom, four younger sisters, and an honorary auntie, facing periods without power or heat. Her mother’s perseverance through mental health struggles left Gabrielle with immense respect for her. Though her relationship with her father was distant growing up, they rekindled their bond after a severe car accident left him partially immobile. This life-changing event, along with her journey into adulthood, brought them closer and inspired Gabrielle to pursue her musical dreams with newfound purpose.
