Then Comes Marriage…
As the old saying goes: first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in a baby carriage. Bachelor Nation took that to heart. We’ve got tons of couples popping questions, starting marriages, and expanding their (and Bachelor Nation’s) families. Let’s start with some proposals…
First up is one of our favorite Bachelor in Paradise couples, Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb. After leaving Paradise two years ago as a couple, they’ve spent the past few years warming our hearts with countless cute moments shared with all of us to adore. The most recent moment they captured was one of Noah getting down on one knee to pop the question. We genuinely couldn’t be more excited for these two as they take the next step in their relationship!
But wait, there’s more! Another Bachelor in Paradise alum recently said “yes” to a proposal. Season 8 cast member Teddi Wright is officially engaged to her now-fiance, Nicholas (no last name publicized). We’re glad Teddi was able to find her person, even if it was outside of Bachelor Nation.
Oh and if you’ve ever thought to yourself – “proposing to the love of your life one time just isn’t enough” – you’re not alone! After getting engaged four years ago on Bachelor in Paradise, Dylan Barbour got back down on one knee to propose AGAIN to his fiance, Hannah Godwin. Bring on the Baby Carriage!
Here at Bracketology, we consider our team and all of you as family. Speaking of family, remember Clare Crawley from all of those different seasons of The Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor Winter Games/Bachelor in Paradise (of course you do; how could you forget)? Well, she’s expecting a child (via surrogate)!
Who else? We have a fun announcement from Shawn Booth (Kaitlyn Bristowe’s former final pick) that he is expecting a child with his partner, Dre Joseph! The couple seems very excited about their upcoming kid, and is it clear yet that we are excited, too?!? Oh, and if you needed more excitement, Bachelor alum Amanda Stanton is also expecting! This will be Amanda’s third child, and we couldn’t be happier for her and her hubby to welcome this new baby into the world!
While you’re here, we might as well throw in one more. Former Bachelor Nick Viall and his fiance, Natalie Joy, are expecting a child! With a wedding in the works, the two have shared that they plan to have the child first, and then get married a few months later. Last week, they revealed the sex of their incoming little one.
Now for the Bad News…
(Most) good things come to an end. With all of the good news of Bachelor Nation finding love comes the bad news of some Bachelor Nation couples going their separate ways. In probably the highest profile Bachelor Nation breakup in recent years, we’re sad to share that former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe has gone her separate ways with her former partner, Jason Tartick. The two shared statements via social media after much speculation about their relationship status.
In other breakup news, former Bachelor Peter Weber and contestant Kelley Flannagan have decided to split, again. If you’re unfamiliar with the whole ~drama~ that is Pilot Pete, consider yourself lucky. For those in the know, the saga lives on. Will we be seeing Peter on Paradise?
Speaking of Paradise… BIP favorites Brandon Jones and Serene Russell have gone their separate ways. After an immediate connection (+5 fantasy points) on Bachelor in Paradise, the couple left the beach to pursue a relationship together. Sadly, the two suffered the similar fate of many Bachelor Nation couples and couldn’t withstand the tests of the real world outside of the Mexico beaches.
Can We Steal You for a Sec?
- There’s a new couple on the block and it involves none other than former Bachelorette, Gabby Windey. Gabby recently shared some photos on IG with her new girlfriend (yes, girlfriend), Robby.
- Speaking of former Bachelor Franchise leads finding love after looking in new places, Bachelor Colton Underwood has officially tied the knot! Colton posted pictures with his new hubby following the ceremony.
- Former Bachelorette contestant Nate Mitchell hard-launched his new girlfriend, and we are loving it! He also remains a great friend and supporter of Gabby.
- The long-awaited “senior” Bachelor is finally upon us, and with that comes a new opportunity for fantasy games. Bracketology has officially launched fantasy leagues for The Golden Bachelor! For all of you OGs, Bachelor in Paradise leagues are also open, with both shows premiering on September 28th.
