Chris Daugherty

Chris Daugherty was a 33-year-old Highway Construction Worker from South Vienna, Ohio when he became the Sole Survivor of Survivor: Vanuatu in one of the greatest comeback stories in the show's history. A former high school wrestling champion who worked on highway construction, Chris nearly cost his tribe the first Immunity Challenge when he couldn't cross the balance beam, but went on to orchestrate one of the most impressive endgames ever. As the last man standing against six women, he expertly played both sides, convincing Eliza Orlins, Twila Tanner, and Scout Cloud Lee to flip on their alliance and eliminate Leann Slaby and Ami Cusack. Chris won the final three immunity challenges and chose to take Twila to the Final Tribal Council, where he won in a 5-2 jury vote by admitting to his lies while Twila refused to apologize for hers.
