Jonathan Libby

Jonathan Libby was a 23-year-old Sales and Marketing professional from Dallas, Texas when he made history as the first person eliminated from Survivor: Palau without ever living on a beach or attending Tribal Council. A graduate of Texas Christian University, Jonathan was not selected during the Schoolyard Pick twist on Day 1, making him the first castaway in Survivor history to be eliminated through this method. Despite his athletic background in soccer, swimming, and water polo, his quiet demeanor during the initial selection process left him standing alone with Wanda Shirk as the two rejected contestants. Jonathan's appearance remains one of the most unusual eliminations in the show's history.
