Katie Gallagher

Katie Gallagher was a 29-year-old Advertising Sales Executive from Merced, California when she became the runner-up of Survivor: Palau. A USC graduate who worked in advertising in Los Angeles, Katie was known for her sarcastic wit and close alliance with Ian Rosenberger and Tom Westman. She clashed frequently with Caryn Groedel over work ethic and was perceived by some jurors as riding coattails rather than making her own strategic moves. Katie made it to the Final Tribal Council after Ian's dramatic exit but faced a harsh jury that criticized her gameplay, ultimately losing to Tom in a 6-1 vote with only Coby Archa voting for her. She attended fellow castmate Jenn Lyon's funeral in 2010 and remained connected with her Palau tribemates.
