Lea Masters

Lea 'Sarge' Masters was a 40-year-old Drill Sergeant from Columbia, South Carolina when he competed on Survivor: Vanuatu as the oldest man of the season. A US Army veteran who served in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq, with credentials as a trained EMT, master barber, nuclear weapons specialist, and a master's degree in chemical engineering, Lea founded the powerful Fat Five alliance that dominated the pre-merge game. Named the tribe's chief during a twist, he won individual immunity at the merge but couldn't save himself when the men entered the merge down 4-6 in numbers. Lea was voted out on Day 24 as the first member of the jury when the women targeted him as their biggest physical threat.
