Rory Freeman

Rory Freeman was a 35-year-old Housing Case Manager from Des Moines, Iowa when he competed on Survivor: Vanuatu. A Georgetown University graduate who studied African government and history and previously worked as a TV reporter for Nigerian Television Authority, Rory was the only contestant not to have a spear jabbed in his face during the welcoming ceremony. As a member of the Fat Five alliance, he survived multiple Tribal Councils despite receiving votes at every single one he attended, accumulating 14 votes against him throughout the season. After the merge, Rory became the first victim of the gender war when Twila Tanner and Julie Berry flipped to the women, making him the first jury member on Day 21.
