Sally Schumann was a 26-year-old Social Worker from Chicago, Illinois when she competed on Survivor: Panama. A Bethel College graduate with a degree in Social Work who played midfield on the women's soccer team, Sally had worked as a varsity girls' soccer coach at Buffalo High School in Minnesota before moving to Chicago. She was the first person selected by Terry Deitz in the schoolyard pick and won multiple immunity challenges that proved crucial to her survival as an outsider on the La Mina tribe. Sally was voted out on Day 24 in a 6-2 vote as the second jury member after being exiled to Exile Island at final eleven, which she credited as her 'saving grace' in extending her game.
