Sean Rector

Sean Rector was a 30-year-old Teacher from Harlem, New York when he competed on Survivor: Marquesas. A SUNY graduate with degrees in Theater and Psychology, Sean worked as a junior high school teacher in South Central Los Angeles bringing education and mentorship to underserved communities. He was a founding member of the Outsiders Alliance that orchestrated one of the most dramatic power shifts in Survivor history by overthrowing the dominant Rotu Four. Sean finished in fifth place on Day 36 as the sixth member of the jury, remembered for his charismatic personality and memorable confessionals.
