Shane Powers

Shane Powers was a 34-year-old Marketing Executive from Los Angeles, California when he competed on Survivor: Panama, creating one of the most memorable characters in the show's history. A club promoter and entrepreneur who founded a boutique specialty marketing company in 1999, Shane suffered severe nicotine withdrawal on the island that caused volatile outbursts, rants, and erratic behavior that both entertained viewers and frustrated his tribemates. He famously adopted a piece of wood he called his 'Blackberry' and founded the Casaya Alliance with Aras, Courtney, and Danielle. Shane was blindsided by his own alliance on Day 33 in a 3-1-1 vote orchestrated by Cirie Fields, and cast the deciding jury vote for Aras to win. He was cut from Heroes vs. Villains at the last minute in favor of Russell Hantz and now hosts 'The Shane Show' on DashRadio.
