Travis Sampson

Travis 'Bubba' Sampson was a 33-year-old Security Officer from Johnson City, Tennessee when he competed on Survivor: Vanuatu. A former Marine who served in Desert Storm and worked at a nuclear plant, Travis was a member of the Fat Five alliance on the original Lopevi tribe. After the tribe switch on Day 11, he was sent to the new Yasur tribe along with Rory Freeman, where he quickly ran afoul of the women's alliance. Travis was caught by Ami Cusack attempting to signal to Chris Daugherty during an Immunity Challenge to 'remember the merge,' leading to his immediate elimination on Day 14 as the women closed ranks against the men.
