Twila Tanner

Twila Tanner was a 41-year-old Highway Repair Worker from Marshall, Missouri when she competed on Survivor: Vanuatu. Born in Iowa and working as the only female on her highway road crew, Twila initially aligned with the older women's Yasur Alliance led by Ami Cusack. Her abrasive personality and work ethic rubbed many tribemates the wrong way, but she proved to be a valuable ally for those who earned her loyalty. Twila made the controversial decision to swear on her son's name while making deals she didn't intend to keep, which haunted her at Final Tribal Council where she tearfully defended her gameplay. She lost to Chris Daugherty in a 5-2 jury vote, with only Scout Cloud Lee and Ami Cusack voting for her to win.
