Willard Smith

Willard Smith was a 57-year-old Lawyer from Bellevue, Washington when he competed on Survivor: Palau as the oldest man of the season. A Yale Law School graduate who served in the Air Force during Vietnam, Willard was selected last during the Schoolyard Pick by Caryn Groedel to complete the Koror tribe. Despite being on the dominant Koror tribe that never lost an Immunity Challenge, Willard's age and perceived weakness made him a target once individual immunity began. He was the first person voted out of Koror on Day 13 in what was essentially a default elimination to avoid turning on stronger alliance members. Willard maintained a positive attitude throughout his time on the show despite the circumstances.
