Christina Eagle, a 23-year-old from Catawba, North Carolina, is competing on Team Snoop in The Playoffs. Growing up in a home filled with music, Christina started singing as soon as she could speak, with one of her earliest memories being her running up on stage to grab the mic at church. Despite enduring tragedy early in life—her teen father was killed in a car crash before she was born, and her mother passed in another car accident when Christina was only 1—she has always kept a positive outlook. Raised by her maternal grandparents, whom she lovingly calls “mom and dad,” Christina grew up close with her uncles, who she sees as siblings. Though she has no memories of her parents, she feels fortunate for the loving family who raised her. Expressing her feelings through music has helped her process the grief of never knowing her parents. Now, Christina dedicates herself to her music, performing several nights a week at local bars in her small town with her older brother, Daniel. Although their musical ambitions vary, they find joy performing together as a duo.
