Team Riley
--
Keiyana Osmond is a 32-year-old singer from Logan, Utah, who found her voice after receiving her first guitar at 10 and teaching herself to play, write and sing. Raised in a predominantly white Utah community, Keiyana often turned to music while trying to understand where she fit in as a biracial young woman. Music became the place where she could be honest with herself long before she felt ready to fully share every part of who she was with the world. Ten years ago, she auditioned for The Voice but did not receive a chair turn. Since then, Keiyana has stepped into a more authentic chapter of her life: coming out, marrying her wife, Melissa, becoming a stepmother and returning to music with a much clearer sense of self. Proud to be a Black lesbian artist, Keiyana hopes to release more original music and create bigger opportunities for herself and her band. As a contestant on The Voice Season 30, she arrives ready to turn a second chance into a breakthrough on Team Riley.
