Nina Howland

Nina Howland is a 24-year-old singer from New York, New York, for whom music was the shared language of a childhood spent around Broadway dressing rooms, orchestra pits and family sing-alongs. Despite attending Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Berklee College of Music, she spent years avoiding the vulnerability of performing as herself, focusing instead on soccer, songwriting, music business and a record-label desk job. Once Nina finally committed to performing, her first major audition led to singing alongside Hugh Jackman at Radio City Music Hall. She later joined the national tour of The Great Gatsby, learning to perform night after night in cities across the country. Grateful for her theatrical career, Nina still felt unfinished business calling her toward a stage without a character or costume. By stepping away from the tour to compete as a contestant on The Voice Season 30, she is embracing the musical gift she once resisted and taking the biggest leap of her life as her own artist on Team Kelly.
