Shye (Shyezee Roberts), a 17-year-old from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, brings her unique spirit and strength to Team Bublé in The Playoffs. A passionate collector of rocks, crystals, and geodes—especially amethyst—Shye finds balance and confidence in her collection, even wearing a halite necklace daily for grounding. Her life took a challenging turn in 2010 when her mother, Sheila, suffered a severe injury at work that worsened her scoliosis and led to numerous surgeries and extended hospital stays. During this period, Shye was largely raised by her older siblings and found immense support from dedicated mentors like her choral teacher and music instructor. Through songwriting and singing, Shye created an emotional outlet for herself and a source of comfort for her mother, bonding them even closer. Now, with Sheila back home full-time, Shye is deeply grateful for their connection. Beyond music, Shye finds fulfillment in volunteering, especially supporting LGBTQ+ and Black student organizations, and is ready to share her voice and heart on The Voice stage.
