Sloane Simon

Age: 19

Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA

Sloane Simon, a 19-year-old from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is competing on Team Bublé in The Playoffs. She discovered her love for music at age 8 when her parents bought her a guitar to help her cope with her mother’s fight against aggressive spinal cancer. Music became her solace, carrying her through her mother’s years in remission and now supporting her again as her family faces new battles. After her mother recently underwent a successful operation, Sloane’s father was also diagnosed with late-stage cancer, leaving the family reeling. The Voice has been a cherished family tradition, making Sloane’s place on the stage especially meaningful now. A skilled songwriter, Sloane began performing at a young age, gaining recognition from prestigious organizations such as the Jazz Aspen Festival, Women Who Rock, and the National Foundation for YoungArts. Her music even earned her an opportunity to open for Ann Wilson of Heart at a gala. Currently a freshman at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, Sloane is pursuing a degree in recorded music and is ready to share her talent with the world.
