Adam Gentry

Adam Gentry was a 27-year-old Copier Sales Executive from San Diego, California when he competed on Survivor: Cook Islands. A Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in Marketing who had appeared on MTV's 'The Grind' in 1999 and previously worked as a personal trainer, Adam specialized in selling copiers to churches and aspired to move into medical sales. He seized control of multiple tribe incarnations and was the only person besides Ozzy Lusth to win individual immunity during the season, becoming the only Rarotonga member to win individual immunity. Adam was voted out on Day 37 in a 4-1 vote as the eighth jury member, finishing just two days short of the Final Tribal Council. He later worked in the Survivor casting department and suffered a stroke in November 2018, and dated Big Brother contestant Erika Landin.
