Brad Virata

Bradley 'Brad' Virata was a 29-year-old Fashion Director from Santa Monica, California when he competed on Survivor: Cook Islands. A University of Washington graduate with a degree in International Communications who traveled throughout Europe and Asia as a model before attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Brad worked as Director of Men's Merchandising for Lucky Brand Jeans and helped launch the clothing line 'Los Angeles Denim Atelier.' He became annoyed at Cao Boi's racist jokes but was famously cured of his headaches by Cao Boi's 'pulling the pain' technique. Brad refused the mutiny offer on Day 20 and was the first jury member when voted out 7-1 on Day 21 for being perceived as untrustworthy, and he notably introduced fellow contestant Yul Kwon to his future wife Sophie Tan.
