Cristina Coria

Cristina Coria was a 35-year-old Police Officer from Los Angeles, California when she competed on Survivor: Cook Islands. A 14-year veteran of the Santa Monica Police Department who started in law enforcement at age 14 as a police explorer, Cristina had nearly been killed twice in the line of duty - once when pinned against her police car by a drunk driver and again when shot by a murder suspect during a hostage standoff on July 4, 2000 that nearly cost her her left arm. She formed a strong early bond with Cecilia Mansilla and gained respect from her tribemates despite being initially against throwing the immunity challenge. Cristina was eliminated on Day 15 during the Double Tribal Council in a 4-2 vote after being perceived as annoying, and was later asked to compete on Blood vs. Water but couldn't due to recent surgery.
