Clay Jordan was a 46-year-old Restaurant Owner from Monroe, Louisiana when he competed on
Survivor: Thailand. Born in Canyon, Texas and raised by a single mother he considers his hero, Clay was the last man selected during the Schoolyard Pick but called himself a 'diamond in the rough.' He became infamous for being grabbed by the throat and slammed into the water by Robb Zbacnik during a Reward Challenge, and for writing 'Bye Bye Denver Diva' on his vote for Ghandia Johnson. Despite criticism for his laziness and poor work ethic, Clay's loyalty to the Chuay Gahn Five carried him to the Final Two where he lost to Brian Heidik in a close 4-3 jury vote. Clay passed away on May 19, 2022 at the age of 66.
