John Raymond

John Raymond was a 40-year-old Pastor from Slidell, Louisiana when he competed on Survivor: Thailand. A New Orleans native who graduated summa cum laude from Oregon Bible College with a Bachelor of Theology, John served as Executive Pastor at a church of 2,700 members leading pastoral counseling and adult education programs. Before entering ministry, he worked as a successful financial planner for 12 years and completed the Los Angeles Marathon after just three months of training. John's bossy leadership style and off-kilter sense of humor rubbed his Chuay Gahn tribe the wrong way, making him the first person voted out of Season 5 on Day 3.
