Ghandia Johnson was a 33-year-old Legal Secretary from Denver, Colorado when she competed on
Survivor: Thailand. Born and raised in San Francisco, Ghandia was an accredited legal secretary who also owned a beauty salon with her husband and enjoyed long-distance running, kickboxing, and karate. She became infamous for accusing tribemate Ted Rogers Jr. of inappropriate behavior during the night in what became known as 'Grindgate,' one of the most controversial moments in early
Survivor history. Ghandia's emotional reaction to the incident and her mercurial personality led to her elimination on Day 12, and she was notably dubbed the 'Denver Diva' by Clay Jordan's voting confessional.
