Nate Gonzalez

Nathan 'Nate' Gonzalez was a 25-year-old Shoe Salesman from Playa del Rey, California when he competed on Survivor: Cook Islands. The half-brother of television host Sal Masekela, Nate attended Santa Barbara City College as a theater major and previously worked as a waiter, club promoter, and hip-hop artist with the group EZTHeI. He formed a strong bond with Sekou Bunch early on and became annoyed with Cristina Coria for bossing the tribe around. Nate accepted Aitutaki's kidnapping offer at a reward challenge and was blindsided at the merge on Day 27 in a 5-4 vote when Jonathan Penner flipped to the Aitu Four alliance, making him the fourth jury member. He dated fellow Cook Islands contestant Parvati Shallow both before and after the show.
