Ted Rogers Jr. was a 37-year-old Software Developer from Durham, North Carolina when he competed on Survivor: Thailand. A Morgan State University graduate with a degree in Management Information Systems and member of Iota Phi Theta fraternity, Ted fulfilled a dream by playing in the NFL preseason for the Dallas Cowboys in 1994 before pursuing a career in software development. He founded the Big Dog Riders Motorcycle Club to eliminate stereotypes about sports bike riders and positively impact his community. Ted became central to the controversial 'Grindgate' incident with Ghandia Johnson and was ultimately voted out on Day 36 as the first Chuay Gahn member eliminated, targeted for being the biggest physical threat remaining.
