Alex Bell was a 32-year-old Triathlon Coach from Los Angeles, California when he competed on
Survivor: The Amazon. Growing up in San Francisco and attending boarding school in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Alex overcame a serious struggle with drugs and alcohol during his teens and maintained sobriety for 11 years before competing, crediting his mother's unconditional love. He previously worked for DreamWorks in creative services and as a projects manager for Team In Training, a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser. Alex grew complacent after making the majority alliance and told Rob Cesternino he would vote him out at the final four, prompting Rob to blindside him on Day 30. He later married fellow
